How Epoxy Flooring Greensboro Works
Epoxy Flooring Greensboro installs resin coatings on concrete in Greensboro and the surrounding towns of Guilford County. Most of our work is in garages, but we also coat basements, workshops, porches, patios, pool surrounds and commercial floors. We install flake broadcast systems, polyaspartic systems, solid-color and metallic epoxy, and heavier industrial coatings.
We do not sell one product to everyone. A floor in the Piedmont deals with muggy summers, winter brine from treated roads, and a slab that may be decades old or only a few months past construction. Those conditions decide the system, so we look at the floor before recommending anything.
How we work
- We come out first. We measure the space, look at cracks, joints, stains and any old paint or sealer, and ask how the floor gets used.
- We test the concrete. A moisture test shows whether vapor is coming up through the slab. If it is, the plan includes a primer made for that, or we tell you a coating is not a good idea.
- You get it in writing. Your quote spells out which system we would use, every coat in it, the prep, the cure times and the total. That written estimate is the price unless you change what you want done.
- Prep is most of the job. We diamond grind the floor down to fresh, porous concrete the resin can grip, then repair cracks and chipped joints before the first coat.
- We watch the weather. Humidity and slab temperature matter on install day, so we check both before mixing resin and reschedule if conditions are wrong.
- We tell you when you can use it. Before day one you know how long until foot traffic is fine and how long until the car goes back in.
What we ask of you
Clear the space before install day, keep kids and pets out while coats cure, and follow the care notes we leave. Small habits, like rinsing off winter salt and putting a pad under jack stands, keep a coated floor looking good for years.
Getting started
Call (336) 962-4282 or send the estimate form with your town, the space you want coated and its rough size. We will pick a time to visit, check the slab for moisture and put our price on paper. There is no charge for the estimate and no pressure to book.
